Cincinnati Nature Center is an incredible location that has so much to offer for many different kinds of photography. Rowe woods and the Cincinnati Nature Center have many different backdrops. These different areas are great for senior, family or maternity photos.
The Krippendorf Lodge is a beautiful large home that offers a stone patio, porch and a unique water tower in a beautiful sage green. All around the lodge are large trees and beautiful landscape.
Matt’s Cabin is a quaint little cabin set in a meadow with wildflowers and birdhouses It overlooks a little pond where you can find many a turtle or frog. The cabin has a wooden floor and walls with a grey weathered look, and the most beautiful stone chimney on one side that has hints of yellow in the limestone offering a great contrast to colors like navy blue and maroon.

Groesbeck Lodge is at the far end of the property. It is a newly renovated Stone mansion with rought iron fencing and slate shingles. This stone creates a wonderful backdrop for senior photos and family photos or for updating your headshots. The large wooden door on the front of the Groesbeck Lodge is one of my personal favorites.
The Cincinnati Nature Center also offers numerous fields, wooded areas and a large pond. The ponds have walkout docks so you can feed the fish and geese, you can also see the reflection of the woods in the lake.
Fall is a perfect time to enjoy photos in one of the fields at golden hour.

The Nature Center is centrally located. The Nature Center is located in Milford but is just a short drive from places like northern Kentucky, Loveland and Williamsburg.

You can purchase a yearly membership to the park. This will allow you to visit at your leisure and see the park in all seasons. The Nature Center also offers classes all year long. If you are just coming for photos you will have to pay a $9 per person entry fee but it is totally worth it.
